Capitalizing on the accelerating wave of AI infrastructure upgrades, SERA Networks showcased three major product lines at COMPUTEX 2026 Edge AI modules, 5G Open RAN wireless solutions, and high-speed data center switches demonstrating a comprehensive portfolio spanning from intelligent edge devices to cloud networking infrastructure, making the company one of the highlights of this year’s exhibition.
The spotlight first fell on SERA’s Edge AI System-on-Module (SOM) solutions. As AI applications continue to expand beyond the cloud into industries such as manufacturing, retail, transportation, and healthcare, demand for real-time inference and low-latency computing has been rising rapidly. Through its modular Edge AI platform, SERA enables equipment manufacturers to accelerate the deployment of AI-powered vision recognition, intelligent surveillance, and industrial automation applications. By performing AI processing directly at the device level, enterprises can significantly reduce cloud transmission costs while enhancing system responsiveness and operational efficiency.

In the communications infrastructure segment, SERA introduced its 5G Open Radio Unit (ORU) solutions, targeting the rapidly growing global Open RAN market. Compared with conventional proprietary base station architectures, Open RAN emphasizes open standards and hardware disaggregation, allowing enterprises and telecom operators to select equipment vendors with greater flexibility while reducing network deployment costs. Leveraging SERA’s 5G ORU platform, organizations can build private 5G networks for applications such as smart manufacturing, intelligent logistics, smart ports, and campus connectivity, providing a stable, high-speed wireless environment for AI devices and edge applications.
At the heart of the AI era’s data infrastructure are high-performance Data Center Switches, which are critical to enabling large-scale AI computing. As AI models continue to grow in size and complexity, data centers are facing increasing demand for high-bandwidth, ultra-low-latency switching architectures. At COMPUTEX 2026, SERA showcased high-speed switching platforms ranging from 100G and 400G to 800G, designed to support AI server clusters, high-performance computing (HPC), and hyperscale cloud data centers. These platforms facilitate high-speed data exchange among massive GPU clusters, significantly enhancing overall AI computing performance.
